The seminar entitled “Sustainable Business with Social Environmental Governance” addresses the growing urgency of sustainability issues in contemporary business practices. Climate change, environmental degradation, and social inequality highlight the importance of corporate responsibility beyond profit generation, requiring the integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into organizational strategy. In Indonesia, regulatory frameworks emphasize environmental protection, labor rights, and ethical business practices, while investors increasingly rely on ESG factors to evaluate risks and long-term value creation.
This seminar aims to provide theoretical insights and practical perspectives on ESG integration within business strategies. Key themes include sustainable leadership and organizational culture, sustainable financial management and green finance, risk management and business model transformation, as well as technological innovation in sustainable marketing. The event also functions as a networking platform for participants, enabling the exchange of knowledge and experiences among scholars, practitioners, and the wider community.
Target participants include students of management studies (undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels), academics, and the general public. The seminar is conducted in a hybrid format on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, from 08.30 to 12.15 (Jakarta Time), located at Bung Hatta Building, 5th floor, and via Zoom. This initiative is expected to foster a deeper understanding of sustainable business practices and encourage their integration into organizational culture for long-term sustainability.
